This five-day course is designed to assist the operator with the operation and maintenance of Class II water treatment system. This course is designed for those working in the field of water and wastewater system operations. It is a level II course designed for operators employed in municipalities with a Class II water plant. Highlights include: basic knowledge of water distribution practices; role of the operator, safety, hydraulics; focuses on the practical aspects of system construction; focuses on operation and maintenance of distribution systems; review of water quality, disinfection and treatment applications; and pumps and controls.
This course is designed to assist Water Plant Operator with the operation and maintenance of Class II water treatment systems. It may also be useful to help prepare for writing the Class II Water Systems Certification Exam (a mark of 70% must be achieved) the afternoon of March 28, 2025
